Geography Matters Trail Guide to Learning

I am very excited to try out Geography Matters Trail Guide to Learning – Paths of Settlement. After we found Liberty Kids on Netflix – my son has become a history nut. Which is great since his mom is a history nut.

Geography Matters contacted me when they saw me on twitter asking for reviews! We loved our early history curriculum – but with the current interest in the house I didn’t want to go back but continue with American History this year!

The curriculum consists of: Reading, Vocabulary, Spelling, Language Arts, History, Geography, Science,  Art and Cooking.

Core, Volume I & II

Geography Matters Trail Guide to Learning

We are very pleased with the units we have completed so far!  The information is thoroughly covered, planned out, and constantly reviewed!  Not to mention the lessons are fun!

The boys are not just learning about famous people, states, or famous battles – they’re learning what it was like to live like a early American Settler. They are learning what hard work, chores, and family values were truly all about!

The notebooking pages are great to help drive home the points of the readers.  And I appreciate the art and cooking lessons that have been added to make each section more interesting for my tactile visual learner!

Science is incredibly interesting for us since we’ve never done covered Geology – it’s all brand new!  Print outs for games, and experiments … I am incredibly pleased with this curriculum and highly recommend it to anyone!  Just add a math curriculum, bible study and you’ve got your year done!
