Weekly Wrap Up: Birthday

This week was my son’s 10th birthday, I feel so old!

We took him to our favorite place, 4 Rivers, for bbq and cupcakes! (these cupcakes are out of this world good and fantastic to split for birthday cake).

Then we introduced the boy to Dave and Busters, where I had to prove to everyone I am still the air hockey champion. Had a blast and ran thru our card too fast! We crossed the street and had more fun playing mini putt putt. (sorry, it’s 80* here).

Excitement really came to the house the following day when his K’NEX birthday present arrived.

K’NEX is totally new to us, and has become our homeschool science, math, and fun project this week.  

We’re enjoyingour time with WriteShop stories, playing Stack the States on my iPad Mini, and playing outside! We might just hit the pool this weekend.  (before it gets so hot our skin melts off our bones).

Otherwise this week I am excited about the 2:1 Conference Promo video! Less than 50 days!
