Are you looking to add a classic to your home? Why not Maestro Classics, Peter and the Wolf?
I am happy to introduce you to my newest sponsor Maestro Classics!
“Maestro Classics produces Stories in Music™, a classical music CD series for children ages 5 to 12 and their parents. Entertaining and educational, these CDs have won over 45 national awards.”
I have purchased a few cds this year: Swan Lake, The Soldier’s Tale, Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel (when I shared my box brownies secret), Peter and the Wolf, and most recently Carnival of the Animals
Having boys you can imagine their skeptical looks when I unwrapped Swan Lake. But they were good sports to listen while working through language arts.
It’s no surprise the boy’s favorite cd is still Peter and the Wolf. Especially my oldest son who immediately shouted, “the wolf sounds just like Darth Vader”! Who wouldn’t enjoy sitting on the edge of their seat listening as the wolf swallows a duck and hearing the three hunters (“with guns” my 5yr old adds)!
Maestro Classics is more than easy listening. I appreciate the online homeschool curriculum guides they offer {free}!

The page is user friendly and easy to click on one area, click the provided links for more educational information, activities, coloring pages, projects, and fun!
Curriculum guides offer everything you need for a small unit study!
But if you’re not a homeschool mom looking for curriculum, you will still enjoy the cd’s colorful insert.

Each colorful insert offers something different like: crossword puzzles, mazes, connect the dots, story, or music notes.
We have listened to Maestro Classics during other homeschool lessons, dinner prep, eating, clean up time, and quiet time. The great narration presents classic stories we know (or have yet to read) with a smooth flow conjuring up emotions.
I believe Maestro Classics is an enriching must-have addition to your home! And you can start today by entering to win 1 copy of our favorite cd, Peter and the Wolf!

We really love Casey at the Bat and Tortoise and the Hare
We just read Casey at the Bat, so that would be fun to listen to.
I would love to try peter and the wolf.
The Soldier’s Tale would be great!
Oh, I just noticed, “My Name is Handel: The Story of Water Music”. I think that might be a great one for my family. I have been looking at these for a while as it’s often recommended to get stories and books on CD for children with dyslexia. Add in how much music speaks to my children with Autism, and this might be a good fit.
We have classical music playing all day at our house. It would be wonderful to have the books to go along! I think we’d start out withSwan Lake though! One of my favorite ballets!
We would like Swan Lake.
I think we would like the carnival of animals.
We love Maestro Classics and have 3 of them. Our favorite is Swan Lake, but Carnival of the Animals is a close second!
