Weekly Wrap Up: Goodbye July

It was the last week of golf camp – so Monday will be our 2nd effort to get back into our curriculum.

Little Man enjoyed the Preschool Police Pack ~ great for any Lego City kids, and he helped me write my Mighty Warriors review picking out his favorite pages. (go enter to win – it truly is a fantastic book)

The boy did a few days of Download N GoCreation Camouflage and took it one more step to add a Notebooking Page on walking sticks!

It rained a ton this week, so in between drops we went GeoCaching and raced all the frogs in our empty pool.

As for me … I am still juicing a meal or two each day.  And what looks like baby poop really does taste like limes or pineapples.  My new favorite concoction: 2 apples, handfuls of spinach (enough for a side salad), 2 carrots, 2 BIG handfuls of blueberries, a few pineapple chunks, and 1 small lime.  I’ve also stepped up my cardio a notch and purchased some “accessories”.

I’m still trying to share Economics for Everybody with my homeschool friends because I believe it is an amazing resource that is worth far more than just a high school credit!  Thankfully the dog is my moral support.

I now have a new obsession for scarves – which is silly since it’s 90+ degrees in FL right now!  And if you’re wondering why I look so … determined – I had to text best friend @MamaHall to make sure the 30 minutes of scarf youtube tutorials looked relatively decent before date night!

I joined my friend Natalie – Mommy On Fire – to start Hello Mornings.  I’m looking forward to her “stinkin thinkin” series!

This week I had my 1st phone interview and I can’t wait to share when the Homeschool Superheroes will be aired!  So a little treat for a big week … I may or may not have totally cheated on my diet.  And it was worth it!

What did you do this week?!  Next week is my 10yr anniversary — I can not believe it! Hoping Ernesto doesn’t ruin our plans for a gulf coast stay!

P.S. – most importantly – last night 15 minutes before my friend Cheryl hosted a facebook party she called me.  Her 2 month old daughter had a fever and they needed to rush her to the ER.  After a long night (and I mean 3am last text) they discovered sweet baby girl has a bladder infection.  She will be in the hospital another day (48 hours total) hooked up to an IV receiving antibiotics.  PLEASE PRAY God heals her.
