Tactile Tuesday: Floor Painting

Are you ready for excitement? Tactile Tuesday: Floor Painting

YES!  We paint our tiles!!

I use Crayola Washable Kids Paint – even after 24 hours the Swifter wipes the tiles perfectly clean !! (great time to do it before you plan on washing floors).

Play different games - include music which is great for kinesthetic learners.  (some people categorize tactile & kinesthetic together since tactile is hands – related to the body.  But I do not.  The boy likes to use his hands – he does not like to jump around, dance, move, etc. like little man who loves to dance & sing songs along with his lessons).

TIP: wait for the paint to dry.  I made the mistake of walking across tile and onto carpet. You also can paint a thin layer!

Early on I was painting the tiles for them.  I quickly realized they wanted to do it themselves.  It is far more fun for them.

You make me envy your tile floors! Such a cute idea…I am thinking I need to get some peel and stick tiles and just throw them on the carpet!
